About
CHPTR/14 started with a simple belief: a website should be the start of something, not just another page on the internet.
The name is rooted in the town itself. CHPTR references Howden’s historic Chapter House — the octagonal space English Heritage highlights as one of the most significant surviving elements of Howden Minster.
14 comes from the DN14 postcode district, the postcode that covers the town and the surrounding East Yorkshire countryside.
But Chapter carries a second meaning too. For every business that works with us, it signals a new chapter — a clear, confident step into whatever comes next. That is the idea behind every site we build: a beginning, not an ending.
